"The Cellist" is the first in a series entitled "Winds of Sounds" commissioned by Dr. Jay Dean for "Festival South" a new music festival coming to Hattiesburg, Ms. in the summer of 2010. "The Cellist will be cast in bronze with a traditional brown toned patina and will set atop a black marble and walnut base. The base will have a lazy Susan inset so the sculpture may be rotated for viewing. The instrument will have bronze strings added after casting.

Please note the wind blowing his hair and coat tails. The full series will consist of a string quartet when placed back to back will show the Winds of Sound blowing in a rotating movement.
